I have a new friend and she is telling me that her boyfriend is so nice to her that she can hardly stand it and wishes he would argue with her.
Do you crave arguing with people? I can see how someone might get sick of someone who is dripping with sweetness. But would you try to encourage your partner to argue with you?

I don't argue with girls I go out with, but that's because I'm always right. :thumbup:

I've had girls say that shit to me, then I tell them that I don't care to argue with them because 1. it's beneath me and 2. I'm gonna do what I want anyway, that usually shuts them down.

So I generally advise girls to not even try arguing with me.

I have another friend that also seems to love to get into bullshit matches with me. You can't hang out with her and not have some kind of fight. She doesn't call the fights though. She calls them disagreements. To me it is almost the same thing. She even fought with me about the definition of the argument! I think they just look for drama.

I only like a peaceful logical argument otherwise I shut down and just stop listening and/or try to remove myself from the room. My ex was volatile, especially when drinking the hard stuff. I'd ignore her and she got worse, but it was not worth the effort to argue with her.

i know a couple who's exactly the same way. she used to bitch all the time that he wouldn't fight with her or fight back when she starts something. i thought it was the most retarded thing to bitch about.
