...that i purchase XM. I have held out as long as i could, deprived myself of Ron and Fezzie and KRocks sudden chang ein format has now left me without O&A in the morning commute.
I'm pissed but i've also sewn up a lot of financial ends as of late and am now able to afford XM. Howver, i am totally unaware of what channels Ron and Fez, Opie and Anthony are on and if you need a specific package in order to listen to those channels.
Basically i need guidance in figuring out what subscription i need and how the actual radio part of it works.

The basic XM package includes 202, Opie and Anthony's and Ron and Fez's channel. $13/month plus, whatever you pay for the radio.

O&A are 6 to 11 live, then some filler.
R&F are 12 to 3, with the replay at midnight.
Make sure you check out 41, 53, and the all new XM 42.
Enjoy the service.

i'd recommend one of the portable radios that are easily transferable to from the car to the home stereo. i pretty much have mine on all the time when im at home. i have the inno and love it.

I have 2 Roady XT's. One for each car. I got a deal on the Altec Lansing boombox in a package.

i believe my inno came with the home stereo dock and had to buy the car kit seperately. im not sure what the prices are now on them though.
check out myradiostore.com though, they have the best prices ive seen and got all my stuff very quickly.

where are you going to be listening most? If it's in your car you can get a car receiver that feeds in through your stereo. Otherwise i'd get an Inno, which lets you get signal most anywhere (not so great inside buildings, but you can use an antenna inside for some success). You can get a car adapter for the inno as well, but that's an extra 40 bucks or something.
I bought a refurnished inno and a year subscription and away I went.

I would love to be able to listen in the car but i am often times home and that is where i would listen while doing schoolwork and stuff, i could always get the other stuff later down the line.

I think when it says 'home kit' it means an antenna, which would let you get signal inside.

As long as you have a convenient window sill where you can put the antenna, you'll get a good signal in the house.

i got this for my girl with just a car kit and it was over 100 bucks a little over a year ago. and it has the homekit so you can hook it up to any stereo you already have. the homekits work pretty good with their antennas. i live in a basement apt. and still get great reception with it.
