not really. jew corned beef is a whole other world than mick corned beef.

I like Pastrami because it's similar toward corned beef except that it's smoked.

And I'll have mine with lots of that good fat too.

on Rye with Mustard and grilled onions.

Maybe some cheese too.

A Dr. Pepper and fresh made Sea Salt a cracked Black Pepper Chips.

God Damnit!!! I'm suppose to be on a diet.

Pastrami if I'm buying slices for a sandwich. Corned beef if I'm cooking it myself. I love freshly cooked, melt in your mouth corned beef.

Corned beef for me. Pastrami on rye is decent enough but it really needs some cheese to finish it off, and that's a no-no where I used to get mine.

Used to be pastrami, but I spent the last two weeks eating it as part of my diet and I now loathe the stuff. So now it's gotta be corned beef.

i can't freaking wait for corned beef and cabbage on tuesday! :clap:We go to a local bar. The owner makes 800 lbs of corned beef. She gets a special cut. Cooks it in beer. It rocks!! She is so Irish that the day after St. Pats. day, the count down begins for the next St. Pats day. They even do a half way count to St. Pat's day. I can't wait for Tuesday. The place gets jammed. 4 deep into the bar. Now that husband is laid off, we can go during the day.:drunk:

ive seen katz's deli several times on travel channel a few times in the last few weeks. looks absolutely amazing. next time i make it to nyc i really want to go.
