How many hours of sleep do you get?

I look at the clock and am getting sleepy. Even though I have no job to wake up to, I hate to sleep the day away. How many do you get?

it really depends on the day. i have a varying schedule of working 6pm to 6am 3 to 4 nights a week, and those days change up every week. sometimes i go 48 hours with no sleep and sometimes i sleep for 16 hours. i don't think i will ever be able to sleep normal again.

i'll get about 7 tonight cause cold case just started. but usually i can get 8+. when i was at my old job i slept about 10 hours a night.

i was telling my chick this today, the past two nights i got 8 hours and 8 and a half respectively yet i felt just as tired during the work day as if i got 5-6 hours. does sleep amount really matter as much as people think it does?

p.s. if i fall asleep right this second ill get 6 hours

6 1/2 hours or under is manageable. 8 hours or more is also manageable. but for some reason if i get 7 - 7 1/2 hours i'll feel like shit all day.

7-7 1/2 hours is all I need! 8 hours and I feel like garbage.

Somewhere between 5 and 7 hours... like if I had 5 hours and 55 minutes of sleep, I feel fine. 6 hours i feel like shit all the way until hour 7.

6 to 7 regularly.Some nights 8.I have an uncle who swears that if he got 8 he would wake up retarded.

Less and less as of late. I used to be one that could sleep until two or three on a day off, but recently I've been getting up around eight or eight thirty whether I have to be up or not, and I NEVER go to bed before two (usually later).
