I just hold onto the notion that tomorrow has to be better than today and it helps me get through. Even when it comes and its a disappointment, the expectation is what helps.

I live 40 minutes from the best beach in the world. I'm still bummed.

I've been sad since the husband has been laid off. He's talking about selling the house and moving to the Jersey shore. I'm glad about that, but sad about us trying to find jobs there. I go to this site everyday. (http://www.nj.com/shore/belmarcam/)

Wow, this is the perfect thread for this.

I recently learned something about someone I used to see once upon a time, mainly, that she is doing very well and in a very good spot. I'm pretty much happy to hear that, for a myriad of reasons, but mainly because I did care, and share moments with the person, once upon a time.

But, I'd be lying if I said there wasn't just an ever so slight twinge of sadness which comes with updates on people from past failed relationships.

But all in all, I was pretty happy to hear it.
