Hypnotism shows are great and my favorite. But, they can only really do one a year.

I like the deeper shows. Ron is really good at making you think and he relates so well. I'm sure the deeper shows are all but lost now with this new 30 min/break format, but I have a bunch on audible.

The boys hanging out is the best, i am not a fan of the guests except for Rap, I could listen to stories from Ron's past all day.

I prefer them just hanging out and throwing cowbells, complaining, and starting the shows with the Callers.

I do not like a vast majority of the guests they have in studio. It has gotten better with Earl gone, because there are fewer musicians. Just not my thing. But, when they do have a guest, the genius of Ronnie B. makes it just fine.

Drinking shows usually turn into Dave screaming and sing-a-longs. That is okay, but like the hypnotism shows, it should be event radio.

Ron and Fez with ESD. That is what I love.

But, if your a Paltalker like me, the show goes to a whole different level of enjoyment. Casual listeners miss out on a lot.

This is a great thread. It demonstrates the versatility, maturity, and even immaturity that we've come to expect from the current incarnation of the show. I went with the drinking shows only because I thought of my favorite shows (primarily the enema joke-off) and they all involved alcohol. Still, the philosophical shows and the moments of just "hanging" and verbally shredding Dave have made me laugh harder than anything else on the radio.

My favorite show would have a combination. A great guest with a philsophical conversation followed by some low-brow humor.

That "great guest" however must not be affiliated with the boards or that goddamned PalTalk.

Im not too into guests because Fez says next to nothing. If it wasnt for Ron's ace interviewing skills there wouldnt be a point in even having them.

Great question Gvac. I picked "just the boys hanging out" and then I'm torn between the hypnotist shows and the deep philosophical ones. But those can be hit or miss, whereas when they're hanging out, it's usually a hit.

I chose Other because the phrase "Just the Boys Hanging Out" makes me cringe for some reason. But when I think about it, simulcast shows are probably my favorite. Whether its the Oscars, Superbowl or Election, those shows alwasy sound great and Fez is way more into it.
