I'm not positive but I believe the sauna is hot and dry and the steambath has a lot of steam so wet and hot.

And how anyone could go in a hottub that you don't own is beyond me. Stewing in the other's nasty germs is about as disgusting as jujubee's water plant stories. Disgusting.

Steam is the way to go...its not nearly as creepy as hot tub and the Sauna never seems to be hot enough to make a difference.

I don't know a lot of people who own private jacuzzi an even still i assume everyone in the family uses it and guests when applicable.

You also sweat in jacuzzis from your body temp increasing, you're basically sweatin ginto the water you're stewing in.

Sauna. You can use it dry or with steam, I like the smell of cedar and it's always fun to jump into the plunge bath afterwards. Plus I always actually feel cleansed after I rehydrate.

jacuzzi is great - if you own it. steam room if your using public facilities.
