I went into the stupid "Best Sports Conference" thread thiking it would be about this but that one was about shitty college sports.

So...what's your all-time favorite sports press conference? They're usually good for some rants and meltdowns.

So does this have to be about a pro-sports press conference then? Cuz my favorite is a college press conference.

The one with the Oklahoma State coach defending his QB that got ripped in the papers. "I"m a man, I'm 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" It hilarious. I quote that line all the time.

Nah, the Cubs one was posted by Smails above. The "crown their asses" was when the Bears beat the Cardinals the year the Bears went to the Superbowl. The Bears were still undefeated at that point, but should have lost except that Hester scored twice and the defense did, too. The Cardinals lost at the last secon when they missed the game-winning field goal. This is what resulted:

That Lee Elia one is tough to top just for the amount of cursing alone.

One of my other favorites was when Bill Parcells was coach of the Patriots, and some one asked him how Terry Glenns injury was. His reply was an instant classic... "She'll be fine."
