View Full Version : Just took some Ambien, what happens next?

Doctor gave me some samples to use during a trip to Japan next week to help fight jet lag and I just took one 15 minutes ago, 12.5 mg dose, to see what it will do as he told me to test it out first.

What should I expect to happen next?

(also: I am being serious here, the reasons above are what actually happened, doctor did tell me to try some out before I leave because he said some people don't react too well to it so instead of going crazy in Japan it would be better to do it here)

Sleep driving and raping. You do any blow first, cause that makes it extra fun.

On a more serious note,Ambien is the only Drug i never did a second time.

As your attorney, I advise you to drive at top speed, it'll be a god damn miracle if we can get there before you turn into a wild animal.

Sleep walking first. Then when I finally woke up I was zombie like for 2 days. Really fucking scary. Lunesta is much better.

I use Ambien all the time when I fly (as that I am a very fearful flyer) and have never had any problems with it. I can always wake up when it's time to get off the plane with no problem and feel little to no sleepy effects afterwards.

I had that happen from lorazopam. And I woke up in strange women's beds. I might have burned myself with the scalding water, but I had to escape the shame.

I guess it's been about an hour now since I took it. Feeling a little dizzy but not yet tired. Vision lagging a bit if I move my head around quickly. Walked to kitchen, balance wasn't up to par.

(Tokyo and Kyoto)

Does this stuff make you pass out like Tylenol PM or will it just help me go to sleep once I decide that I want to?

Try to make sure when you are sleepwalking and you have to urinate, you make it to the toilet, not the wall or garbage can.

Ambien has different effects for different people, I took it and made me feel like I took a lot of pain killers, the GF took it and slept for 15 hours.

I do know of someone that took it before a flight that was delayed, they woke up and found out they missed their name being called twice then learned their luggage was in Seattle already.

With ambien, you are supposed to try to go to sleep as soon as you take it, or soon thereafter. I guess it works better that way.

Could have been worse, strange men's beds.

You're supposed to take it 15 minutes before you go to bed.

Well I guess me taking it and then futzing around for hours is defeating the purpose.

The place that has those vending machines that sell used women's underwear.

I take it about an hour before I want to go to sleep. When I get in bed, I fall asleep...And stay there. I used to have a huge problem with waking up in the night and not being able to fall back asleep. I like it. It's nice. It's seemed to work great for me, but that's me I guess.

No its just making a drug taking experience boring, you should have planned a night out at the bar along with taking the pills.
