i was freaked out last night

my roomate's parents came for a visit
it was the first time i met them

his mom walked in first and gave him a big hug
and then planted a big wet kiss right on his lips
i almost gagged

that wasn't bad enough
his father then walks in and gives him
a big smooch right on the lips

i just could not believe what i was seeing

i would rather have my father
rape my skinny ass than kiss me on the lips
it would be less intimate

my roomate's parents are both greek
is this a greek thing? or are they just perverts?

i need to wash this picture out of my memory

Up until about 7 years ago I would have thought the same as you. That was when my Dad was diagnosed with colon cancer and I knew that my time with him was limited. From that time forward I was much more demonstrative with my affection towards both of my parents.

I wouldn't say we gave sloppy wet kisses but kissing someone you love on the lips shouldn't be so scarey

My dad was about to have surgery for stomach cancer. My aunt (his sister and a MAJOR battle ax) insisted on coming to our house and staying with us so he and I went on a MAJOR cleaning jag.

I had just cleaned my sister's bathroom (yes, she didn't bother to partake in the cleaning) and she completely undid what I had just "did." I was SO COMPLETELY upset by this (since my aunt is such a hard ass). I was freaking out and my dad stopped me and gave me a tiny peck on the lips.

Rather than being creepy, it was a very sweet moment. It was his way of saying I shouldn't worry and he appreciated my help.

Most of the time he just gave me bear hugs (knowing, full well that as a teenager, I'd get upset!).

my mom is from the Netherlands and when I went to visit for the first time i saw everyone kissing on the lips as a greeting. I about had a nervous breakdown knowing I would have to do the same. Didn't matter if it was man, woman, boy or girl everyone kissed on the lips...

They then took me to a sex show in the Red Light District and it all made sense.
