I tend to disagree with him though, because I grew up in the Caribbean where I didn't have any agencies there to "protect" me from an ass whooping and if I had a meal and didn't want to eat, it would turn into the next meal, until I eventually ate it. I got beaten in school all that shit. It's just learning that there's consequences to actions.

I can teach not to waste in other ways. If my kid won't eat the meal then he will go hungry, not have to eat it the next day or even worse from the garbage. For example; he loves broccoli raw and will eat it with dip, when it's cooked it will make him gag... should I sit there and force him to eat it just to gag the rest of the meal up onto the plate? As adults we pick and chose certain meals over others as well, as we grow we acquire tastes we never had as kids. It's not a bad thing, it's exploring and discovering different foods and textures and finding out what we like and dislike.

Most kids are picky with foods cause they are just developing their tastes for foods.
Getting beat in school or home is never acceptable.
You can learn consequences with logic and a brain and not a wooden spoon.

I somewhat agree with Fez. Part of the high from first-time doing particular drugs comes from the taboo side of it not being legal. It's part of the rush knowing that you "aren't allowed" to do them.

Where I differ from him is that I think he is trying to set up a safe guard with knowing it is legal and he wouldn't be subject to any repercussions that come with doing illegal drugs should he need to seek treatment from any effects that would put him in danger.
