Good Lord, these things are great:

Great drink that fills you up instead of snacking and it's really helped settle my digestion since I started drinking them.

Anyone else a fan?

My kids like those. I refuse to try them.

Does it have an alcohol content? I know Kefir is traditionally 1-2% alcohol by volume. I'm kinda scared of it. I know a lot of people that are into it are also into Kombucha, another thing I am leery of. Maybe the ready made stuff is different from the stuff you ferment yourself.

I just picked one up for the first time last week looking for some healthy yogurt-type food. I somehow managed to lose 11 pounds over the winter as opposed to putting weight on, so I wanted to keep it up and like I said these things are great to substitute for snacking as that they fill you up.

Plus the digestion thing...wow. I have chronic acid reflux and such troubes thanks to my dad's side of the family and it's amazing how much noticeably different and settled my digestion is since I started drink one of these a day.

Is this another appreciation thread?

This bran doesn't have an alcohol content listed. This sounds like it's pretty different from "real" kefir, but I am loving it.

And the smoothies taste great used with Corn Flakes instead of regular milk.

Awesome, if I see some I'll give it a try. It can't be any weirder than my husband and his drinking of buttermilk.

these two along with buttermilk are pretty common in Germany... we used to drink them all the time.
Komboucha became popular about 15 years ago... damn now I feel old...
anyway, it was in yogurts and drinks.
I used to eat these all the time

and with fruit flavors buttermilk was actually not bad at all
