Which wrestling movie (Theatrical release) was the best? Many people praised "The Wrestler". I liked Beyond the mat. However Ready to Rumble and Nacho libre are wrestling movies that capture a certain aspect of wrestling that I like as well.

Beyond The Mat.

The Wrestler was mediocre.

I'm telling you, best board character going.

Besides, Beyond the Mat isn't a movie.

Somehow I've seen all 4 of those movies...
and I'd say The Wrestler kicks the shit out of all of them.

Also, Ready To Rumble was one of the worst pieces of shit in cinematic history.

In all seriousness, Vision Quest.

I vote Body Slam for pro wrestling. Rock and wrestling was the best.

But as a wrestler my entire life, I've watched Vision Quest about 100 times. I adore it.

I submit that any movie without Greco-Roman style wrestling isn't worth shit.

If you can get Quick Rick and Tonga Tom to open, you got something there.

Vision Quest is my favorite by far. That was my cousins first movie and I remember how nuts my family got the first time we watched it.
