the listening thread has links to stuff we never hear on the show,most of them arent upcoming events and dont link to things like the openin music or hot topics discussed on the show or about the show.theres so many links i dont click on any of them.are there too many links?

Let's take a look, shall we. Currently we have 8 links. Three of the 8 links are to upcoming events. Two of the links are to "advice" areas that the listening thread people are promoting. We could lose the homebrews, but I think some of the people involved in the listening threads like it.

As for the start a thread about something you heard, one of the complaints about listening threads is that we don't get separate threads about on-air topics. As a result, people who can't listen to the show aren't able to participate. This link is sort of a reminder that people should fee free to do those types of threads. I may be wrong but I think that since we have started using this link, we have had more such topics.

As for the last, a lot of people who want to visit the show take part in the thread. This helps them visit. Could it go? Certainly, but I think it's helpful.

In the end, it's only 8 extra lines of text. I don't think they diminish the thread any, but if people want less clutter, I'd be happy to help.
