Scalping is a service.I understand service jobs.I rarely go to shows,so I have been a customer because my schedule suddenly opened up and I could see a good concert last minute.It paid off.One ticket,zoom ,in. The funny old job stories really entertained me because we all had dogshit jobs when younger,so you have to laugh at that. Is the live Sat 8pm 202 still on or did Ronny B bump you for the What show to pitch to Sirius? If he did that's fine because I trust his judgement on shows. I consider you a niche show,whereas the What show is more diversified. You guys want 2 and only 2 on your show...it would work well on a small terrestrial radio station CT Spins and Jivin TheHits. Maybe 2 versions 1.) for Sirius execs which is max a half hour 2.) lots of 2-3 min segments strung together as a mini- 1 hour(45 or whatever for breaks version) that could run in a pinch any time on Sirius as a filler,which starts as a 3 year in 1 hour representation in a linear fashion so each year is done in 15 mins worth of that year's show.That would take some severe editing skills.Compressed speech(chopping the gaps/long pauses)rapid fire high emotional impact stuff/shock and jock. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a65/j3lehane/MarsDabeEnlargedPosDabeDoowop2.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a65/j3lehane/thMarsDabeEnlargedPosDabeDoowop23.jpg Korean War vet Dabe in his late 60's early 70's(?) gets a kick out of finding critters and posting on YouTube.Pathfinder. :blink: I would cut the intro music for these shows and run it like life itself depended on capturing audience all ages /both sexes,like you are visiting a zoo and every 2-3 mins you see another cage/room,so that the shock effect builds so much that your heartbeat races and you actually wish the show would end to break the tension.This may not be a fair representation of your show ,the way a movie trailer is misleading...but it raises so many questions,cliff-hangers...that the audience is spinning with anticipation.Orrrrrrrrr you could to the Gomer Pyle meets Bob Newhart routine and coast.Your choice.Just don't cry like Rick if you ignore my advice. :bye:
