It seems there was a slight change to our health Insurance. Dr. visits, copays, specialists are all the same.
The slight change was in the drug plan. She has been ordering from CVS online. 2 months ago she payed 20 bucks. Today she got an invoice for almost $250.00!! How the fuck am I going to pay that?

ask them if you can make payments and make sure to claim it on your tax return for next year.

Call CVS customer service. Explain the situation. They may be willing to accept a lesser amount or agree to a payment over time, like $20 a month.
That's only going to take care of the current bill, but it's something.

If CVS was in-network with your insurance (which I assume it was), it probably agreed to accept an amount less than what they actually list as their billed charge. If that's the case, then they likely will accept an amount less than the billed charges, but they may not.

did they put that change in retroactively?
Normally the pharmacy checks the co-pays each time you fill it in case you are no longer on the plan or it has changed.

my insurance went to 50% of list for name brand drugs but a flat co-pay for generic... see if there is a generic and if this applies to your coverage

if you use Aetna, which sucks anyway, have her dr. write the 'scrip for smaller amounts per refill, and then order from Aetna Rx Online.
i tried to fill a normal prescription last year for 30 pills, and the pharmacist filled it then wanted $400.00.

Fez's psychologist must absolutely suck. One of the first things they usually try to stress (if they are a good therapist), is that getting better is a long process with many steps; some steps are big, but some steps are little. It is a gradual process and there are no quick fixes.
I've heard it takes baby steps.....

Well, they joke about it on the air but this is the first time I think it sounds like it is really a legitimate possibility.
