i am ordering something from a web site
and am typing fast:
first name - type it - tab
last name - type it - tab

in the groove typing and tabbing

but then I get to the state
and no type and tab
instead a pull down menu of state codes

so i have to move my hand to the mouse
to point and click

it really interrupts the flow

i hate that

most of the ones I come across you just type first letter of the state and it takes you to that section, if your state is not first on list hit the same letter again and it takes you to the next on the list and so one then once you got it tab. Drop downs are for savages.

every time i try to delete a song from my itunes it ask "do you want to move the selected song to the trash, or keep it in you iTunes music folder?" and there's no way to turn it off.

When Fire Fox and the NoScript plug in give me 10 different things I have to choose from in order to view a page. Sometimes I am just in a hurry damn thing!

Or, when I am trying to view a video and despite my high speed connection the damn thing will not load.

And, PalTalk and it's crashes, audio screw ups, and compression when I am trying to listen to the after show meetings.

Tab then hit the first letter of the state you are in, like "N" for New Jersey and 5 or 6 times, since it's that number in the row.

I was thinking this exact thing when I read the thread title. Why did we spend so much time in elementary school learning state abbreviations if we can't use them.

What bothers me most about the internet is how serious some people take it when 'debating" people from other parts of the world that
1) They'll never meet
2) They'll probably never talk to again, even on the internet.

i.e. Those pages upon pages of youtube arguing that goes on.
