"Here's my problem with this, I'm just going to come out and say it. If I have anything to say against Obama it's not because I'm a racist, it's because I don't like what he's doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way...

Just out of curiosity, if anyone disagrees with someone who happens to be a different race than you, is it always assumed you are racist?
I know this link is from Fox, but it is a general question. I would have to say that the media will immediately brand anyone as racist if they disagree with the President. Not the last one of course, because that was patriotic,

I think people who have to say "I'm not racist for saying this" are simply guilty not about things they say or do but perhaps things they think.
And no, the media does not brand any critic of Obama a racist. And the last one had the same kind of free pass for years. Critics weren't branded a racist, they were branded unpatriotic or traitors. And all it took to make that disappear was one of the all time worst presidencies.

When she was on Law and Order, her character was from Texas, and she was a conservative ADA with a pro-death penalty approach to prosecution. A complete switch from the previous eye candy, who was a liberal.
In real life, Angie Harmon is supposedly conservative, both fiscal and socially.

Not sure but I once had a black guy yell to me "y'all all alike" because I wouldnt give him money, never realizing I was broke as well at the time. I have had people look at me funny because I dont agree with everything obama says, I just chalk that up to them being brainwashed dems though.

I've seen some silly defenders of the president, but I haven't seen anyone use the race card against someone else. At least not a mainstream commentator/analyst.

Thats absolutely based in reality. I never said everyone does it, but yea it does happen. I rarely even get into politics with people because of the arguments that come up and Ive personally seen it happen a few times. I had 2 different people (both white) ask me if I voted for Obama. When I said no they both asked the same question. "Why? Because hes black?" Id first say "Yup". Just to see the look of shock and then Id have to explain I was kidding and didnt vote for either because I have pretty much lost all faith in the voting process.
And during the campaign there were all kinds of wild racist accusations thrown out there by the liberals and the media. Im pretty sure during a debate McCain called him "That one" and they tried to make that out to be racist. Something about otherfication or some made-up word like that.

just my opinion, but i think that really what makes this a big deal is that since she's in hollywood, its assumed that she would be more of a liberal than conservative. i seem to recall an article, on cnn.com i think, that was basically outing a bunch of hollywood stars that are conservatives.
either way, if you dont like him or agree with him, thats your choice. regardless of which party he is / what color he is / what your reasons are.

Angie Harmon is a perfect example of a chick who is hot, but so stupid that the minute she opens her mouth she's less hot.
I wouldn't fuck her with Hosp's dick. Not because she's conservative, but because she's dumb. Look at what she said. It wasn't a commentary on Obama, or really on racism. She was talking about herself. I'm not racist. Who gives a shit? I've never been to Brazil. What does that have to do with anything.
I actually saw the show where Sehorn proposed to her. She's got nothing.
There's a drastic difference between the part she plays on L & O and her actual personality, and it can be hard to believe that someone who plays such an intelligent character can be so vapid, but she's an actor. She's attractive and all the words come out convincingly. That's her job.
But she should never go off script.

Well, the McCain camp nor the Clinton camp was "innocent" of using old school "southern" language while campaigning against Obama. That is simply a fact.

The night before the election Obama hels his final rally at the PWC Fairgrounds just a mile from my home. I live on a private road that is clearly marked PRIVATE. I have a fairly level front yard. I had to stand in my yard to keep people from parking in my front yard and blocking my street. I was not alone, my nieghbors on all sides had to do the same. I never said anything about the man or the election, but because we as private citizens would not allow our property to be damaged and tresspassed upon, we were all proclaimed "Racists" and "Haters". It was automatically assumed that because I was not allowing this intrusion on my property I was a Racist. The easy answer for those who are still in love with this President, those who cannot form a logical argument to defend what he stands for, the answer is to automatically ridicule and accuse the one who disagrees of Racisim.
Oldest trick in the book, and I am sure that Ms. Harmon is probably sick of defending herself out on the Left Coast. I hope she is done with acting, because Hollywood looks down upon those who speak out against the Liberal agenda.
I hope Obama keeps his current course because he will rue the day he woke Amerika up and they began to say "NO WE WON'T"
