Not sure if this will stay in this forum, but whatever.
I think Maddog congratulated Opie today. And it was right after he referenced his kids.
And I think it was because Opie mentioned to him off air that he was going to be a dad and didn't tell Maddog that he hadn't told his audience just yet.
Could be why he was so stressed out about leaving KRock and why he kept saying that him and Ant were heading in different directions when they had the big 'Grape Eating Blowout'.
Anybody heard anything about this?
And if I am completely wrong then oh well.

I didn't hear the Maddog thing, but the thought had crossed my mind that this may be. Just general vibe, nothing that was said on air or anything.

I heard that part of the interview also and thought the same thing. They really brushed right over it though. I didn't hear when Mad Dog first came on, so I wasn't sure exactly who else was in studio...but I did think the same thing as you about Opie.

I am glad I'm not the only person who thought this. It definitely went unacknowledged, but obviously so. I hate to read too much into things, but it certainly seemed that way. Congrats for the two of them if it is true. I immediately started trying to do the math to figure out who, if anyone else, in studio it could be.
