So a good friend of mine from college got married roughly 6 months ago and I still have yet to send a gift. Making matters worse, I was in the wedding and received a gift from them. However, as we all learned from Curb Your Enthusiasm, the etiquette warrants a one year span after the wedding as to when the gift is still kosher. It honestly escaped my mind until recently and now I feel like a real wanker. Anyone have any ideas as to what to get them? Your assistance is much appreciated.

Check their registry and see what they didnt get.

If they dont have one, ask them what they didnt get that they wish they had.
THAT can be your excuse for being late. "I was waiting to see what you really needed".

Bingo...plus add 6 months worth on interest to what you would have originally given.

We're in a recession here my friend.

Yeah, I did consider just the cash option but I feel like it should be a little more personal. Maybe a really good bottle of wine and/or scotch and some dough? I don't know...

Think "same as a wedding gift."

Only more expensive to make up for your lack of thoughtfulness.

You're an awful individual.

The first line I don't fully understand.

The rest I completely understand.
