Roy Rogers used to beat them both in my opinion until they closed all their locations. Anyone know if they still have them at the NJ Turnpike rest stops? I haven't stopped at one in a while. Then again - rest stop fried chicken may not be the best way to go.

We don't have popeye's here but it kills the kfc we have.

I used to think popeye's was better when I visited nyc. I never bothered to try kfc cuz it's shit here, it was much better than what I knew as kfc.

Then I had kfc and popeye's in southside chicago and kfc was better, best I ever had. Kfc doesn't fuck around there.

Popeye's always had better fixins though.

Back then, I ate out of the mess hall or Ramen soup. On the weekend a KFC chicken finger meal that included 2 sides was $5 something when I could get Burger King for $3 something. Most of my $350 (after allotments) every 2 weeks went towards beer, cigs, and saving for electronics.
