Dead Space :wub:

Let's start off with Dead Space. It gave me the willies, and had me jumping in my seat at least once every ten minutes--sometimes more--during gameplay.
I haven't stopped praising its name since. It was like good crack, as in the drug, and as in the carnal sense of the word...

I have this game right now too, and I've been playing it for a while. It's based on a completely nuked replica of Washington D.C., and I can say that it has a unique look to it, and it's worth taking a look at on that alone. Just about every character in the game acts hostile to you, and is about ready to take your head off, if you so much as look at them wrong, friendly or not. There's a lot of exploring and scavenging through the ruined city, everything is destroyed and practically abandoned, and also irradiated. My only gripe with it is that there's no real adrenaline inducing moments, no matter how cool those kills might look in that video. It plays like a third, or first person shooter, but it's a role playing game at its core. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I tend to really like RPGs, seriously, I have friends that are RPGs.
