yeh but its kinda mis leading

he's only making 83,000+ more than lidge, and lidge is a closer, myers mostly has been a starter


and hamels is still in his rookie contract i think

Hamels signed a 3 year contract this off-season, but it only covers his 3 arby years. It's $4.35 million, $6.65 million, $9.5 million. It seems like a lot more of the younger players are locking up contracts for their arby years.
