The pussy ass Red Cross wont let me donate anymore because I had a false positive for a disease you get from living in mud huts in Latin America. The 'we incinerated that blood you gave us' letter is not a fun one to get.

I donate regularly and never heard of any problems with people who indulge in pot.

And cigarettes are fine (they just tell you not to smoke for a few hours after donating).

Well that makes sense, since you have less blood volume afterwards that cigarette would really throw you for a loop.

I loved to light up after I walked out the door of the donor place. The best legal dizzy/high feeling ever. As for drinking, do not drive because you get drunk a lot quicker.

I donate blood relatively regularly (haven't done so in a couple years) and they gave me a donor card with my info on it.

It's also on my birth certificate, so those of you who don't know your type, that might be a good place to start.

Also, if you're over 17, weigh more that 110 pounds and are in relatively good health, contact your local Red Cross Blood Donation center and register to become a donor. Blood is always in demand. You can help save up to 3 people with a single donation, so do it.

They also give you cookies afterwards, so how can you argue????

hehe, mine is on some pinkish weird paper with an East German seal stamp on it... it definitely does not have it on it...
