We Come Not To Bury Gvac....

...so much as to reinvent him! Some of you may have noticed me posting under another name recently, "GvacNoMore". It started as a joke with me and Lt.Rooster; when Ron and Fez returned for their first show after New Years, they did their annual "out with the old, in with the new" house cleaning, and announced they were "dropping" all the 2001 regulars. Rooster and I quickly created "new" personas and started posting under the new names. Rooster even whipped up some new sig pics really quickly!

As good natured and silly as all of this was, it started to dawn on me that maybe it was a good idea to really go with a new name for the new year. It sounds kind of goofy, I know...this just being a message board and all, but symbolism has always been very important for me, and I really want this year to be different from last. I've change a lot of things in my personal life, so why not continue that over to here?

So, from here on in, I shall be posting as "GvacNoMore", but I assure you, it will be with the same sarcasm and nonsensical wit you've come to expect! And who know..."gvac" may come back one day, should the need arise! Peace!

Well that's not really true.

So ahead, is my eulogy.

My friends, there was a man, to some they knew him by his real identity, but to most of us, he was simply known as gvac.

Yea, for those that have come after him are only pale in comparison, but there are those that carry the spirit of the glorious one.

Many a man can put on a patriotically red, white, and blue jumpsuit. But there is only one that could make those colors thump with a heartbeat-like pulse.

There once was a man that could dole out advice on ways to live a better life, but his time has passed now. And there was a time when a mystical one could extrapolate for hours on end about the regulations of the paramaters of a sig pic, or what may be appropriate for certain forums. But alas, those times are of nothing but the past.

So to you gvac, master of the pimphand, we all bid you a clear path in the presence of becoming Bodhisattva. May your everlasting presence shield us all from the perils of evil.

Bodhisattva...please take me by the hand.

I never liked gvac, and I cannot express how happy I am he is gone. Finnaly I can post freely, know that this guy isn't going to follow me thread to thread, trying (but always failing) to 1-up me.

On the otherhand, I have always like gvacnomore. This guy is as funny as they come. So welcom gvacnomore, and good riddance to gvac.
