My friend Grace has another question...

I have narrowed down my plan to two scenarios:
1. He has my e-mail. Don't go to the bar and see if he e-mails me while he is in Saudi Arabia.
2. Stop into the bar quickly to say goodbye and to wish him luck and leave pretty quickly.
As a reminder that I am interested.

I don't know much about these types of situations, but I do know that you should follow what your instincts tell you. What it boils down to is sure, you might not ever see him again, but if you like him or just wanna spend some time with him, this would be your last chance to do so. Similarly, perhaps this visit with him could set the stage for something more. Even if things didn't work out at least you made yourself happy seeing him one last time, and you've not invested that much in it, so you've not got much to lose at this point. I say go for it, Im sure he'd be flattered that you came down to wish him well anyway. Good luck. =)
