There seems to be a lull in the interest in posting in listening threads lately.
Should we try a day where noone starts a listening thread on a show day?

Why stop there? Let's have a No Listen day! Let's fill our heads with work and dark thoughts from 12 to 3!

What a great proposal. I bet that it won't happen ever.

But who will I have to comment to about the show, my cats? They are cute, but meow meow meow does not make for good conversation about the show.

Is this some kind of backhanded attempt at saying that I suck?
Damn you are cummy.

He's just upset that even on an off day for you, his best days of listening threads are still worse.

If I have a breath left in my body, there shall be a thread.
Take your blasphemy elsewhere, sir.

there should be no listening threads on repeat broadcasts
just copy and paste the thread from the original air date

Thank you for, once again, telling us all what we should think.
Every person in this world is a little bit different. Everyone has their own likes, dislikes, quirks and personal preferences. Someday you will realize that.

Nice try, Doc. You cannot shoe horn that quote into this case.
If you do not want to read or participate, that is up to you.
All I am saying is I will do my best to be sure there is always a thread to discuss the show. I don't care if I'm talking with myself.
(wouldn't be the first time)

Truthfully, I've decided to give up on starting listening threads for awhile. I'll still participate in them, but not going to start it for awhile.
I read the thread when listening to replays on days like today when I cannot listen and post live.

Im not saying get rid of the listening threads as other threads have suggested. As stated I voted to keep them every day. As you know I am a big contributor to them and my post count accordingly. I'm just trying to guage why the listening threads have slipped to such lows. Would a day off from them spur interest ala "wow I missed the listening thread".
Damn I thought the Gvac Lindsay Lohan thread reply was pretty swift.

I don't think that's a very good idea guys.

getting rid of the listening thread would put ron's line of the day thread past 10,000 posts by june.
Even though they're dying a slow death on their own, what would be the harm in giving the listening thread a one day reprieve?
Better yet a one week ban on listening threads.
Either it'll spark interest in them again or finally kill them.
