spring has sprung and the outdoor goodness is upon us. beaches, parks, backyards, and pools are calling out and you gotta reply. how do you feel about these bbq/picnic events being alcohol free? state parks and most beaches dont allow alcohol. i know people that don't drink at their homes and often host these events.
i figure this is why baby jesus invented the flask, but i wonder what you think?

I went to a church picnic once with no alcohol. They were a parish of snake handlers.
That's the type of people who don't serve alcohol at a picnic.
Next time, I'm bringing more venomous snakes and a keg.

Boozing at picnics is natural not to mention expected and patriotic.
In fact, I will go as far to say that not drinking at picnics is UnAmerican.

Even these folks brought a pony keg to their picnic.

i agree, isn't that why we have a "legal drinking age" in all the states in the usa? i can't get behind any public alcohol restrictions. fuck that shit. i'm gonna start wrapping all my cocktails in an american flag (one of the tiny ones they pass out to kids at parades)

I went to one of those. Luckily the reception was at a country club and I ended up spending about seventy percent of it in the nineteenth hole with a few other people who snuck away.

my best friend doesn't drink, alcoholism runs in his family, so whenever he entertains theres no alcohol.
it doesn't bother me in the least, if I have to choose between having a few beers or hanging with him its no contest.

well, sunday, i attended my sister's company picnic. they had inflatables for the kids, and egg toss and tug o war and sack races too.
no alcohol
i brought a super big gulp cup filled with vodka and orange juice. when it was empty i returned to the car (and the cooler) and made myself another strong drink. god bless america:drunk:

I've spent alot of no alcohol gatherings making trips to the trunk, especially family functions.Nothing quite neccessitates the need for alcoho; like a day with the extended family.

I won't do anything that claims to be "family friendly". That shit ='s a terrible time. Booze and outdoor cooking/eating is must.
