I am tired of being over weight and need some outside help. I had success with Nutisystem a long time ago and figured I would try it again. I know it is a self control issue with me. I also had lost a lot more weight one other time by being on the Zone diet. But I think at this point in my life this may be my answer.
This is all portion control and conveinience and I want to make this work. I am like 40 lbs over weight!
The food costs like $300 for a months supply.

Wow, for$10/day, you have to lose weight. You can't be getting much food. Good luck to you, sir.

I need it. I let myself go the past year or so and its getting more and more evident and I notice I have no strength and balance.
This will work for sure, and I figure once I lost enough, I can try to get back on the Zone diet.

I sincerely wish you luck in weight loss. It is difficult, especially as we get older to loose weight.
You can always go on Farmer Dave's program. I hear he straps a plow to you and makes you work his fields.

Good luck to you. I've never had a problem with weight, but others in my family have so that probably has more to do with being a workout freak.

Today was my first day on it. I had the cereal for breakfast with a banana and a few cups of coffee until lunch. Lunch I had this cup of soup and I had some tea. Later I ate dinner, which was beef stew and I had some wheat bread with it. I did not have any salad which I should have because I didn't have any. I just had a snack of cheddar flavored soy crisps.
The food is very small and after eating as I have made myself used to, it seemed way too small to satisfy me. But I keep it in my mind that I want to lose weight and the only real way is through portion control, which is exactly what this is. Hopefully the weight comes off quick!

Congrats. btw I think the term is hiking them up. I think hicking up refers to sleeping with your sister and drinking moonshine out a a brown jug with 3 xxx's on the side of it.

Good job! Keep us up to date on progress and if you like this program. I have thought about doing this over the summer. I work at a school and so I am off all summer. I hate grocery shopping, so I was thinking about doing something like this since I will have to provide myself with 3 meals a day.

i wonder why these people are quitting the diet
but i heard that medifast is good, you just have to have the patience, which i guess is the biggest issue one would deal in any diet program. :drunk:
