Here's one I found.
When nuking a hot dog. Wrap that pup in a slice of cold cut meat first.
Place on paper towle the meat slice will cling to the dog & cooks up nice.

this is another reason they say no to lunch meats:
The biggest concern with lunch meats during pregnancy is the risk of listeria. Listeria is a bacteria that can be found in deli meats as well as vegetables and processed foods. This bacteria can cause an illness known as Listeriosis, which can cause any number of problems during pregnancy such as: - Miscarriage - Premature delivery - Infection to the newborn - Death to the newborn (about 1/4 of the cases of perinatal Listeriosis result in stillbirth or neonatal death.)

I don't think these bacterias survive when you cook meat, so hot dogs should be no issue.
As for lunch meat; we have been eating it for generations and this is the first place I heard that when I was prego and my family thought I was nuts... I ate them nonetheless
