I think I'm laid back. I've got four siblings, 3 of which are 6 or more years younger than me, and I remember them being babies and help babysit them etc.

Plus, my brother's a doctor and his wife is a pediatric nurse. We talk all the time about kids' development. Also, their two kids (one of whom was born on the exact same day as Riley) started walking much earlier than my girls, and they are not fazed by any of this.

Here's the deal guys.

She really wanted to go to a Restaurant in town called "Salsa's" Mexican/Caribbean.

So we went.

Chef Hector Diaz owns three restaurants in town, this being one. I've been to one of his others a while back and it was nothing special. Flared up Mexican/American cuisine.

Funny enough....the roasted tomato-peanut salsa we had with chips was amazing. (that was our appetizer), but the entree were just piled up bowls of the same old ingredients. Annie's being Beef and mine being chicken. Even though we ordered two totally different menu items.

SO.......in the end she wanted to go there but she really regretted it. I feel as if maybe next weekend I'll take her out to a place I know will be nice. Just to make up for the bad pick we had on her birthday.
