Fez spoke briefly about how bad Turkey products like turkey bacon, turkey burgers, etc. are.
I totally disagree. As long as you don't go into in expect the turkey item to taste exactly the same as the originally, they are easy to enjoy.
Yes, turkey bacon and turkey burgers taste NOTHING like bacon and hamburgers. But I still enjoy them.
Turkey Sausage and Turkey Kielbasa actually taste pretty close to the originals, especially if you make something like sausage and peppers, where all that great pepper and onion taste seeps into the meat.
I had turkey ham in the Middle East. It's actually not bad.
Everytime I tried to get as turkey burger or buy ground turkey, there's always a chip of bone in there.

I cook a lot with turkey products just because of the health benefits. When I make chili I use half turkey and half chuck. It turns out quite well.

Quality turkey bacon from the butcher is actually quite good. Not the biggest turkey burger fan, but ground turkey does pretty well in chili or tacos. Turkey sausage is fine as well.

Ground turkey meatloaf is the best.
So much moister than beef.

Not a fan of turkey bacon, there are just some things you can't substitute.

I disagree, I love turkey bacon. I prefer it. It stays softer and is less salty, so I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a strip of fried goodness.

Is there a thread for bison products? I'm all over ground bison meat too (over beef).

I have to burn turkey bacon in the microwave to enjoy it...

Buffaloe burgers are the shit. Im going on two weeks of no red meat & it kind of sucks but ground turkey breast is pretty damn tasty.

I'm prejudiced against turkeys. One can't just hit Snoogans and get away with it.

I guess I still have a lot to learn about being funny. I made myself laugh with that one.
