Dave hit his head on the garage door at his house the other day...
He wasn't feeling well yesterday or today, so he was wondering if it was a concussion.
That's all.

I better take my son to the ER then... he bumped his head in the bathtub today.
Last time I checked he was still singing and happy... but maybe he has a concussion .

If I was a reactionary maniac like my mom I would say this

But I'm not, so I'm saying I'm sure he's ok, I loved the bit, but people who are really worried relax, the man is a physiological tank.

When I last saw him he looked like 195 lbs of twisted Irish steel + 45 lbs of Pillsbury crescent roll dough.

mighty typo, it obviously was meant to be out of CONTEXT
Any story discussed whether it's the baby not talking, walking ... perhaps reading yet... or feeling ill from a head bump... would it be half as interesting to listen to if you went by plain facts and no embellishment? It wouldn''t make for silly calls of people claiming to be doctors or having gone through the exact same thing in their life... and telling Dave what's wrong with him or his family or how he should conduct his every day life.

Really?
I made a joke the day after about Liam Neeson selling a pair of used, slightly banged up women's skis on eBay. It was a horrific thing to say, but it got a huge laugh.

Concussions are caused by the brain bouncing back and forth in the cranium when its hit. It's like a mild bruise. Bleeds usually show up within 3-5 hrs after the injury . If he had a bleed, he'd have been WAY worse by the time of the show. Bad thing is, symptoms of concussion can sometimes last for days,or even longer.
