I'm flattered biggirl, but one thing I've discovered over the years is that every chick ever involved with this place is about as mentally stable as Nicholson's gang in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Get yourself to a psychiatrist (and a dietician) and call me in a few years!
I beg the differ!

Actually, he is quite gifted in that area...he just never showers...it's starting to get to me

if you like girls too I can show you one that likes to shower... ;)

Dear Gvac,

when you touched my back and shoulders the other day, did you really feel aroused? If so you may not be all that gay and our marriage arrangements in 30 years may be back on... I just can't promise myself to a raging fag...

Sincerely,

your almost future wife

I usually head over to Ustream.TV for The Fandick Show.

Gvac, do you play lead guitar or rhythm guitar? Do you prefer one to the other? Just wonderin'.

Although I play both, I prefer rhythm. Using the guitar like a percussion instrument is very appealing to me, and Keith Richards caught my ear very early on in that regard.

Boss got as frustrated as I do with the direction this place was headed. He got out while the getting was good, not believing it was even worth fighting. He's probably right.

And yes, I think he got tired of the stale, old regime, as you alluded to.

P.S. - I actually hung out with him at his house this past Saturday and he's doing wonderfully, and is as sexy as ever.

My dear, sweet Wampus...don't be so sensitive!

Surely you know the old saying "there's no such thing as bad publicity."

The mere fact that Mr. McDonald mentioned your name on today's show only proves that he's taken notice of you.

Unfortunately, he seems to have missed the "n" in your last name and kept referring to you as "Wampus Cradle."

He's not the brightest bulb in the lamp, that Davey Mac, but we love him anyway.

Gvac

Do you think that the addition of FBA posters is the reason for the death of RF.net?

I assume what you're asking is if it's a coincidence that once FBA closed down and they set up camp here on RFnet this place started becoming more and more boring, uninteresting, and less and less about the show and more about the individual members.

I also assume you're asking if having an entire massive thread for people just to hang out and bullshit with one another while contributing nothing funny, interesting, or worthwhile also contributed to the downfall.

I also have to assume that you're asking if the fact that a few of the former FBA members happen to be female and a bunch of the internet losers/geeks/nerds that make their home here hopelessly and shamelessly hit on them incessantly has also led to a less interesting message board.

I guess I'd have to say no.

Wow, I really thought you would have said yes. What with all of the former fba posters having like 10 thousand posts each in 6 months or so. Most of which those posts are, "hey I just got to work" and "I'm glad there was no traffic for you" or "I am leaving work soon' or He everyone from FBA, i just woke up"

Maybe its just me, but I bet a few of the other dot netters feel fba ruined this board. Just think, they came on and many members have all but stopped posting.

And seriously stop hitting on chicks who post online. This is why you post online in the first place, you have no game in the real world.

Epo

I believe there is no universally correct answer, my dear Mr. epo.

Everything is a case by case basis.

I find it not only impossible, but illogical, to "forgive and forget" what Osama Bin Laden and the terrorists did on September 11, 2001 for example.

I also would never forgive (nor forget) someone who betrayed my trust, especially if I already wiped the slate clean with them once before.

On the other hand, there are many instances where I will let past missteps slide if I get to know a person better and forge a friendship.

I don't think anyone ever truly "forgets" once they've been wronged, though.

Gvac

Also, pastries are always a treat. No one ever expects them, but EVERYONE loves and appreciates them.

Once in awhile I like a menthol cigarette but I'll never understand people who smoke them all the time. It's disgusting. Have you ever smoked a menthol while drinking? YUCK. It's like brushing your teeth while drinking Jack Daniels.

It does seem to be an ethnic/cultural thing for the most part, though. All of the Latin and black guys at work smoke Newports, and all of the white boys smoke Marlboros or Parliaments. It's uncanny.

I can only guess that different races also have different taste buds, but I guess we'd need an expert to see if that's true or not.

Dear Gvac,
recently, when i hit the brakes in my car, i can feel a slight vibration coming from the rear wheels.

do i need new brake pads, or could it be something more serious? what kind of money are we talking about for a brake job?

I have never checked out Mr. Burr's podcast, but on your recommendation I shall.

Thank you, and I'll let you know what I think of it once I do.

A vibration? It could be a dozen things, from brakes to alignment to a control arm.

Is your car front or rear wheel drive? Are the rear brakes disc or drum? How many miles since your last brake job?

Do you have a mechanic you trust? If not, I'd get a few opinions. Stay away from a chain like Pep Boys, who will try to sell you on a bunch of things you don't need.

Good luck.

Dear GregoryJoseph,
Ive been doing some internet searching and I wanted to get your feelings about the outlaw Country singer David Allan Coe. What do you think of the original Mysterious Rhinstone cowboy?

Thanks in advance, I'll hang up and listen to your response.
