Opie and Anthony have accepted how totally irrelevant they are within the Sirius family. They get no big name guests and they seem to get interviews after they've done Stern first. Hell, even Colin Quinn did Stern's show before he came over to 202.

All good news.
O&A are now happy with their role within the Sirius family.
They get the guests after Stern, so they are rushed out of Stern, and then spend the rest of the morning leisurely with O&A.

Any more good news?

Second, what great guests has Stern gotten lately? When was the last time he made headlines with an interview like his glory days?

Colin did an interview and plug with Howard. Then went to hang out with O&A. This difference is monumental.

Iron Shiek was the greatest interview in months (maybe years) and it has nothing to do with his status as a celebrity. If you don't see that then I don't know why you listen to a comedy station.

i think they mostly want other talent that records there to stop leaving the levels all fuct. simple fix, mark the levels before they leave and it will be easy to restore. jesus, that has to be something google would tell you.

the other bitch seems to be the glass walls. start taping stuff to the walls. everything you print gets posted till the windows are blocked. again, easy fixes.

They do get most of the same guests about a month ago Stern had Doug Stanhope on and he was better on Stern then he was the last time he was on O&A.

Good guest, sure. Stern got him to do the same gimmick earlier in the morning...save the pissing. What is great for O/A is an every day occurance on Stern this year. Just sayin'. O/A are in a rut. O&A do leave a lot to be desired as far as interviews go, but I don't judge the level of entertainment based on a guest interview.

Stern needs that interview segment for lack of material. Most of his interviews are cookie cutter at this point, and were when he left Terrestrial Radio.

Also now that they are BACK in Sterns shadow I expect nothing less then the worst "guests" on thier show. He will be back to holding them down because he knows they are the better show.

They've always been in Stern's shadow because Stern brings in more revenue and has more listeners - the move to satellite and the subsequent merger didn't change that. Hardly anyone knows O/A outside of the NYC/Boston/Philly metro area. Stern is a household name in this country. Slight difference.

They do get the same guest probably because they're in the same building so it's easy for a guest to get in two shows. Also the interviews are different. I actually like all three shows (Stern, O&A, R&F) They all offer something different

I catch them from time to time. Norton bores me. Anthony doesn't want to be on the air anymore and it comes across through his constant hangovers. When Bill Burr and Patrice O'Neal are on the show it's so much better than when Norton is on.
