Dave, in a bumrush to get an autograph for his wife, went flying into the fridge that holds all the free beverages. All of them simulatenously exploded, gaining tidal force in the long hallway. The entire show was swept by the wave of carbonated beverage into Out-Q's studio, where suddently, 2002 Fez appeared. However, the return was short lived, as the sugary tide caused 2002 to go into diabetic shock.

I got in my car after watching Wolverine and said "hey, it's 1:39 (CST), Ron and Fez are still on!" But they weren't. Bob Kelly was, which was disappointing. Then I heard the last ten minutes of the show...does anyone know exactly what happened, and can summarize it for those of us who were stupid enough to watch Wolverine?

Yeah, what the hell happened? If memory serves didn't Ron ask Fez to wrap up the interview, Fez started talking then it went to dead air.

Ron said He "got out of line" with Strawberry when they came back. What was the last thing Ron said before he threw it to Fez?

Can someone explain what happened? I was busy today and didn't get to hear the show. I read the listening thread briefly and it just seems there was a lot of dead air suddenly after the Darryl Strawberry interview then O&A came on. Is that all that happened? Have we found out what happened? Did they ever come back?

Can we get some serious replies for fans who didn't hear, I'm not the 1st to request a quick summary of events.

They came back "after a longer than expected break" for the last eight minutes... some jokes as to the reason, but I don't recall an official explanation for the O&A insert... Ron did site "technical problems"... I think that is why we are speculating now... and "the ole fat-finger" is an expression for mis-keying and not a criticism of one of my favorite radio personalities... oh you crack me up ole R&F.net super poster...

I am sure nothing serious happened..I have seen where the satelite that controls the Channel went out temporarilly, and that has caused long periods of silence...one time for more than thirty minutes before the program was active again. Just a theory...I did not hear the show today to actually know.

I was hoping that something went down and Ron had to kick Strawberry's ass. Nothing would make Ron mopre of my hero than him mopping the floor with that Met/Yankee's ass.

Granted he's a former professional athlete, but I think Ron's inner rage would compensate for any physical deficiencies.

Just finally got to hear the actual end of the show. I had been listening up to that point and cut the show a few minutes into the o&a audio they were playing so I had no idea they came back. From listening to the audio I don't think anything happened as a result of Daryl Strawberry, just guessing but it sounds like something shorted out, probably by Chris Stanley or in one of the broadcasting controls that prevented them from continuing so Ron had to quickly wrap up the interview and get them off the air while whatever the problem that happened was taken care of.

Seeing as how Ron mentioned some concern about being able to do the Sunday night show it sounds like something shorted out, possibly caught fire.
