Some people might be aware that I really like Elton John. I haven't been able to listen to him for a while but I need to go back to an obsession I had since when I was a kid. Elton's legacy is huge and now he has one more thing to add to his resume. Billy Elliot has been a smash on Broadway and in London and now leads the Tony Nominations with 15.
He's tough old bird who keeps on going.

I've always wanted to take all Bernie Taupin's Civil War songs and turn it into a musical.

To me Elton John at his best was when he would be all coked up, eyes wide, huge sunglasses, fur hat, jamming on the piano.

His son was born through a surrogate on christmas day.
No word on whether it was Elton's sperm or David's
or both.

When his diaper needs changing, will they refer to him as the "Brown Dirt Cowboy"?

Nothing says "attention whore" quite like scheduling your child to be born on Christmas day.

One problem....The oueen probably won't be performing at the Royal Wedding.
(He called the other Queen mean and old.)
