I read an article on this that says there will be follow-up operations to sort of pare down the jowls as she progresses. Basically, they need extra skin there while the musculature and circulatory system develops there.

absolutely. that's exactly what was said as the reason for it. I have nothing against it.

Just a reminder of the many things our taxes can be used for; no way a free market system would want to fund something like this- it wont turn a profit, but it advances medicine and could help people, including our soldiers.
