What happened to one of my favorite shows?

I love the Sci Fi channel. Usually when I'm home and I'm bored enough I'll keep it on all day. Shows like Farscape, First Wave and the Outer Limits are great...BUT WHAT THE HELL HAVE THEY DONE TO THE OUTER LIMITS????? The last few times I have gone to watch it it's looked like some half assed hack job of the Twilight Zone. Have I missed something? Did they decide to change the format or has it just been coincidence that the last 2 or 3 episodes have been black and white Twilight Zone-ish knock offs? It SUCKS now!! Please someone tell me it's just a coincidence!!!

The original OUTER LIMITS was a black and white Twilight Zone Knockoff that lasted for a season ("we have control of your television set) but OL itself was brought back numerous times in color modernizing it. I think they are still making new episodes in a showtime/sci-fi coproduction thing.

the outer limits is still in production, but just like the invisible man and farscape, it's production's on hold. i don't know why. but it hasn't been officaly canclled.

Okay so are these just the old episodes coming back or are these newer ones? Are the new episodes they are gonna be making gonna be modern ones or these Twilight Zone rip offs?? I'm so confused...

The Farscape thing is RIDICULOUS now. I love the show (it's absolutely one of my favorite shows on TV), but Sci-Fi is on crack. Apparently, they think it's cool to show 2/3rd of the season, then take a 4 or 5 month break, then show the rest of the episodes.

On the good side, I'm pretty sure that the series has been picked up for a fourth season (which would make sense, since it gets good ratings / has a good following). Which makes me happy, since I think it's probably the best genre show on cable TV (and one of the best genre shows on TV period).

I stopped watching Sci-Fi Channel when they cancelled MST3K. Then I watched it for a little with Good Vs. Evil but that was cancelled. I watched the Chronicle a few times but don't really care.

I still love Farscape but it's just not the same since they killed off Zan...now Crighton is gone as well...what's the point now without him? I also think turning Crise (sp?) into a good guy was a bad move....but whatever, I'll probably still watch it.

As for the Chronicle, I never watched it. It doesn't look the least bit interesting to me. I liked American Gothic but that's gone and also Dark Skies...also gone. I've watched a few episodes of the Invisible Man but never got too into it.
I like the Quantam Leap re-runs and miss the Sliders ones. I hope they bring those back.

As for Babylon 5 biggest waste of air-time. Blech, awful

The best thing about Sci Fi is that sometimes i'll turn it on in the middle of the day, and Seaquest will be on. I love that dolphin.

I liked sifi channeles sunday morning line up they had like this Sifi entertainment show called the buzz and they had liek all these teck shows about new toys and videogames and new tecnallagy it was a good 2 hours of fun every sunday monring

the only thing that i don't like about Farscape(how did we get so far off topic?) is that it is just a ripoff of the Starjammers from the X-men comic.

I have no idea what happened to Zhaan but I agree, Jool is annoying. In fact I don't like any of the new characters after Chiana joined. All that Stark guy does is whine and Scorpious just plain sucks!! As for the whole Crichton thing....I have no idea what the Hell that's all anout. All I know is I missed a couple of episodes, all of a sudden his father is there (How the Hell did that happen??) and then he was dead cause of radiation poisoning....wtf??
