They had Jordan and Barkley when Bird and Magic were hanging it up, but when Jordan was retiring they couldnt annoint the "next one" fast enough. From Shaq, to Kobe, to Garnett, to Duncan to Lebron. All great players, but I mean honestly, none of them can carry a team to a championship for 6 fucking years. Shaq has 4, Duncan 3 so I guess they would be considered closest and even they arent in his league.

And for the record I hate having to admit that because I was a huge Barkley fan and have a sore spot for Jordan because I believe he kept Sir Charles from getting his ring.

I like LeBron. I think a more apt term for him would be "Phenom". He's delivered everything his potential promised. But his public personality is all marketing.
