...if they weren't good for you?

MacVittie

are they just not good for me in a neutral sort of way, or are they not good for me in that they are bad for me?

TheGameHHH

Yes! They're great in a lot of dishes.

I'd eat Brocolli Rabe if it was the worse than eating 6 Big Macs at a time.

In a neutral way.

I thought of this as I'm forcing down a grilled chicken salad. I'd really just like to be eating the chicken. I still have the same tastes as I did when I was 4. If my doctor didn't keep telling me how important it was for me to eat vegetables I never would.

I'd be a pure carnivore.

Like a man should be.

I loves me some asparagus. Plus, it makes my pee smell funny.

I just like carrots and potatoes. I'd probably keep eating them because they go so well with just about every meal I eat.

asparagus, carrots, and green beans - yes

all others - no

would this also mean things like cookies and ice cream would be good for you?

In a perfect world, yes.

For the sake of this argument, however, no.

I'm struggling to refrain from attacking a bag of dark chocolate covered espresso beans that are in my fridge.

NO!

You can slice eggplant, zucchini, red peppers, brush them with oil, sprinkle with salt and garlic powder, and grill 'em.
Really quite delicious.

With a pice of steak and a sausage as the main, of course.

the easiest thing to do is throw them out,
remove the temptation

Fuck yea. From spinach to brussel sprouts I love the majority of vegies.

I do sometimes wish I could be just a steak and potato kind of guy though.

I especially like asparagus and steak. no question, I'd eat it even it had no nutritional value. I also like brussel sprouts.

I'd still have plenty since they're parts of so many dishes I enjoy. I also like a good salad just because I like them, and I love veggies on my burgers and sammiches and such. I would not, however, have vegetable snacks around the cut down on junk food eating like I do now.

see, that's the trick:

Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness Smoothie: Ingredients & Nutrition Facts
Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness Smoothies are made with apple juice, pineapple juice, mango puree, and kiwi juice for a tasty and flavorful blend. You can barely taste the mango juice, and the kiwi and pineapple combination dominate this smoothie. However, the other ingredients are also fairly noticeable; Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness Smoothies contain many ingredients not commonly found in the typical smoothie such as:

-Spirulina

-Green tea

-Barley grass

-Wheat grass

-Broccoli

-Blue-Green Algae

-Echinacea

-Tamarind Puree

-Dragon Fruit Juice

-Jersullem Artichoke

-Nova Scotia Dulce

and you don't taste it at all

Hell yeah! F nutrition! there's lots of great tasting veggies.

roasted corn on the cob, spring peas, asparagus, onions, garlic, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, taters, steak, lettuce, tomatoes...

ok, so steak isn't a vegetable, but it's damn tasty!

A World without sausage and peppers is not a world I want to live in.

Also, onions are vegetables. Are beer battered onion rings not delicious?

I don't think I would.

I don't really anyways, but I have at least one V8 a day, normally two.
I would drink that stuff even if it wasn't good for me.

I'll assume Prof. Gvac is aware that most carnivores injest some kind of "veggies" along with the meat to keep things flowing nicely.

I'll take a bowl of vegetables over a side of beef anyday. There isn't a vegetable I don't like. The health benefits are just an added bonus.

If you're not one to gnaw on some raw carrots or apples, might I suggest juicing? I'm a big fan and the results are always yummy.

I bought a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer and while it's fantastic at extracting every bit of goodness, it's a bitch to clean. This was delicious but there's definitely room for improvement.

If you can't juice yourself, try this for fruit and veggie goodness:

odorless garlic
