I have no clue why chicks wear those ridiculous looking clodhoppers when they're trying to look sexy. They look like they're about to topple over any minute and always wind up taking them off and bitching about how uncomfortable they are shortly after you arrive at the formal event with them.

Besides, what guy wants his chick to be towering above him?

They're not only painful for the woman but probably disfiguring as well.

I don't get the whole "sexy" vibe from them either. Yes, it accentuates a woman's calves (which I love) and to a lesser degree her ass, but is it worth it to feel like you're with a chick who is walking around on her tippy toes all night just so she can attempt to look pretty?

I say no.

And as far as the bedroom, I'll take a barefoot woman over a high-heeled slut any day as far as sexiness goes.

trust me, there's no threat of me towering over anyone any time soon. i love heels...and it's absolutely true - if you spend a little bit more money, you can absolutely get heels that are more comfortable than sneakers.

having been a dancer, my feet are ruined...2 of my 4 arches have fallen in each foot. so flat shoes = major pain for me. heels = far less. i'm a big wedge fan, though.

I'm 5'8" in my sockfeet with a penchant for wearing 3" heels or higher when I get dressed up. Wearing flats, for me, is sometimes a really bad move because of the way my legs are built.

If I spend a bit more money and time on the shoes, I am able to find heels that are comfortable. I don't always spend the time and I don't always have the money to do this, but when I do, I am not disappointed.
