R&F pad data dumps

A user on another forum I visit made this neato program that dumps and archives R&F pad data information.

Every day after the show it'll have the pad data log, which doubles as a show run down, as long as someone updates it frequently enough. Check it out:

smart idea. if siri had balls and brains they would have this function natively, with searching, tag clouds, time lines.... unfortunately they're looking very weak now with negative forecasts yesterday (orbitcast is so over siri, they didn't even bother with a news post on it), terrible short term prospects with the state of autos, abominable customer service and a big bet on directtv that will the internet will obviate as sure as this font is monospaced.

Friday was the first day for R&F, after some tweaking. I think I've got it right. It should run daily as long as I dont lose power or internet from 12-3 on weekdays.

I'm not close enough to NYC to go to many events or anything, so i wanted to try and give something back everyone could use.


edit: my posts are also pretty dependent right now on the format the guys post in. 99% of the posts have the phone number in the artist info, and when that happens I try to filter it out and just put the title info, so you dont get the phone # every fucking line. also, if the phone number, or ron/fez/opie/anthony/R&F/O&A etc arent ANYWHERE the pad data, it doesnt post at all. thats extra logic to filter out commercials.

if they get a new guy updating pad data who does things in a different format, ill work fast as i can to update, but dont expect any of these updates to be perfect :) it took me nearly 2 weeks to fix a problem where if an artist/title had two "&" signs it would F the entire thing up, which is why there are some updates that just say "O" or just say "R"

nice! this will come in very handy. i have hundreds of shows saved to my hard drive and this can help me pinpoint specific moments in shows... thanks!

so far, so good. no massive changes. i made one quick change today where it saves to a file with a .txt extension because some mobile browsers dont know what to do with these files if they dont have extensions
