There are people who actually do need time to "find themselves" and who genuinely are honest about it, but unless your brother undoubtedly believes her adn thinks she's being honest about it, then she's probably just making an excuse to get out of the relationship.

And in terms of that girl who dumped her husband and divorced with 2 kids, I'm sorry, but she doesn't have the right to put 2 kids through that to JUST find herself. She's got 2 lives that she helped to create that she's responsible for, and finding herself isn't a good enough reason to me, so it sounds like she was just looking for an excuse too.

I totally understand having to find oneself at times, but most of the tiem people who use that excuse are full of it, but there are those who are being honest and true. But if you have kids involved, screw you, cause you should think about them first.
