This months Vanity Fair has Jessica Simpson on the cover (here) and right across the top it says, “YOU CALL THIS FAT?” And “FAT” is in extra-big caps and italicized, as if to indicate that the person who said it was in disbelief at being called fat. And you have to admit, the pretend version of Jessica Simpson they have on the cover doesn’t look fat at all. She looks terrific. Similarly, here’s a picture of a bunny in a top hat and bow tie. I think someone’s got a hot date tonight, haha. Lookin good, Mr. B!

Meanwhile, back on earth, Jessica Simpson shouldn’t be daring people to call her fat when she’s very clearly fat. I’m sure if someone made me some Daisy Dukes with an elastic waistband I could fit into them too, that doesn’t mean I should or that anyone would think for one instant that I even vaguely resembled Daisy Duke.

I think he was just referring to the bunny in a top hat.

I tend to think yes, but part of me says it's quite possible

I'm going to have to say that the Mr. B line has as much to do with Ron and Fez as it does Mr. Belvedere or Diff'rnt Strokes.

Is "What Would Tyler Durden Do?" run by angry homosexuals? The first two articles on the page are about Jessica Simpson looking a little bloated and some girl from Gossip Girl looking "horrible." Meanwhile, both of them look alright (especially the Gossip Girl girl).

What has this world come to where we see sloppy men and women 23 hours a day and the Gossip Girl girl is "ordinary?" I guess being from Chicago I am used to seeing people who are 15-25 pounds overweight.

Who was Mr. B on Diff'rent Strokes?

Mr. Drummond was Mr. D. It is an 80's sitcom staple for kids to call adults Mr. or Mrs. Letter.

I thought the same thing when I read it but obviously knew he meant the bunny.

He's just saying that Simpson has gotten a little heavier over the past few years and is making more fun of that fact that she keeps denying it by releasing pics that have been Photoshoped or enhanced.

I didn't get the bit on why he was knocking the other girl but I'm guessing it was sarcasm.

That site is the 2nd best site out there behind only this one.

One a side note I did see it referenced in the background of the new Hulu commercial w/ Denis Leary.

it's possible that the WWTD guys listen to Ron and Fez it has been brought up numerous times on O&A that they are fans of O&A so it kinda makes sense they would know of R&F, but I don't think that reference in the article has anything to do with a R&F line.
