think about it. All the pictures, the words of obsession, the love spouted, all the sounds and autographs they have. Is it just me or do they seem like Shrines that are usually look down if the pictures are tangible and they're candles around them.

One major difference - you can prove the existence of a celebrity and thus a "shrine" to them makes more sense than a shrine to a product of imagination and social control.

does that make the Message board a Temple? are we part of the Congregation of the Church of Ron & Fez? Is Carter, Pantera, FMJeff the Clergy?
