depends on the woman. i never thought i'd want short hair, but then i cut mine to about my collar bone, and i absolutely love it...it's actually considered medium length, i guess...and have received more compliments on it than on probably any other cut. i've accepted that it is probably the best length for me, given the shape of my face and the texture of my hair...any longer, and i lose massive volume.

Women can only pull off short hair if they are going for the pixie/punk rocker look. That can look hot, but if you can't pull it off, don't even try.

The look I can't stand is the soccer-mom bob. Nothing says "I don't give a shit about my own sexuality or looking the least bit respectable to the opposite sex" like a vanilla hairstyle that requires no maintenance. If you have the fucking balls to cut your hair that short, you might as well buy your husband a gift card to the local whorehouse.

I think hair is one of the last things that would make a difference in my opinion on a woman's beauty. Most pretty women look good no matter their hair.

Agreed'd, any hair style can work, so long as it compliments their face. Long hair is nice but doesn't work on everyone considering their texture. Really loooong hair only works if you have thick healthy hair.

My hair is straight with a slight wave to it if I let it dry naturally.

My hair is chestnut brown with natural high lights which I dont particularly care for, so I dye it soft black.. have never dyed it blonde.. hmmm..

Haha.. when I was going through a lot of trauma and stress I cut 12-13 inches off my hair a few years back. Thankfully it's grown back. What is wrong with us?

sadly a shoulder length or bob hair style takes more work and maintenance than ass long hair...

My hair has always been very long and just a few years ago I tried shoulder length when I donated it to locks of love. It grew out long again quickly and just recently I had it cut to shoulder length again and felt even that was too short... but in reality the hair looks nicer and healthier at that length... it gets kinda flimsy when longer

I can only go by my experience... when my hair was longer I would not even blow-dry it... if I washed it at night I would just let it dry before bed... comb it through in the morning and off I went... if it looked crappy a ponytail was the next best choice.
When it's shorter I have to blow dry it and style it... else it will look like crap.

my hair is extremely thick (stylists tell me i have 2 heads worth?) and healthy, but it's almost too healthy to be long because it's so soft. it just ends up completely flat and blah.

Well, in my effort to find a picture of the hairstyle that I'm thinking of, I was only able to find women that looked gorgeous with it. Shit. I guess I lose this round.

Anyway, try to picture this on a normal woman and not a Hollywood hotty. Some people can fall out of bed and look that hot, the rest of us need to at least give some sort of effort.
