i love Wooden Bats!!!

I've been umpiring all weekend again and want to go on the record that Baseball after Tball should ONLY be played with wood bats.
The game is so much better and beautiful to watch. I did games with the shitty PING of aluminum by some scrawny kid whose dad can afford a $300 Venum. CRAP. Loved doing the wood bat 3-2 game much better.

I agree, but to take it a step further I can't stand maple bats. They feel like you're swinging a toothpick. Ash bats are the only way to go.

Actually just the opposite. Many LL and Babe Ruth leagues are going to wood bats.

Our Little Leage is 100% aluminum. I can't complain. Sean has 2 triples this year. (one should have been an "in the park")

hell to the yes!! not only that, theres way more satisfaction in hitting a baseball hard with a wooden bat as opposed to hitting a ball hard with aluminum. it just feels so much better.

They also shatter like glass. I wish MLB would ban them.
