Lately, I come to realize that often I may look like a dick, hostile or rude in e-mails and posts than I should. Sometimes I'll receive an e-mail for work or even a post here, and write back immediately without too much thought as to the tone of my communication. Later I read it and realized that I could have worded it better.

Some of the e-mails/posts I'm replying to are annoying and others are not so much. Sometimes I read such e-mails/posts so quickly that I misinterpret or miss points there. Regardless, I'm thinking its' better to appear more diplomatic in how I handle the interaction.

So I'm going to try to take more time in responding to e-mails etc especially where I'm feeling annoyed.

Does anyone else spot a similar thing with themselves?

Please, I work around Trains for a living. You gotta see how many people with IPods just step IN FRONT OF THE TRAIN TO CROSS THE STREET as its moving. I couldn't imagine not being aware of my suroundings to that level.
