Ok, as of tonight I shall return to the RF.net community (whoop de doo, right?). I spend a lot of bandwidth apologizing to my pals in this forum for not being here, but that's (I think, for real this time) about to change.
Ever since we went biweekly, working 7 days a week and trying to make an entertaining radio show really got to me. If I wasn't working at the hospital, I was spending time with my kids or working on Weird Medicine. Something had to give and unfortunately it was this forum.
Well, thanks to the scheduling changes at Sirius-XM's channel 197/202, some of the "specialty programming" took a big hit. This Saturday night at midnight will be the last scheduled Weird Medicine prerecorded program (and it's a rerun of the very first LIVE show from October 2007). We've been assured, however that in June we will start a new schedule, at least guaranteed to run once a month. We'll also get the opportunity to try to do LIVE shows from the Nashville studio, perhaps as often as every 3 months. Once a year we'll make the hajj to NYC to see our pals in the big house (and maybe switch the bit to doing breast exams on porn stars instead of prostate exams on homeless people and interns).
Anyway, that's the story. I'm hoping I can keep the inbox emptied out, and I once again most heartily apologize to anyone who has questions waiting.
your pal,
steve
